Behind the Lens

A dreamy sunset photo in an open field with long grass and warm evening light.

Ever since being gifted my first camera 20 years ago, I've always felt overwhelmed by the potential beauty that can be captured behind the lens. There's something so honest and pure about a photograph, and I found that taking photos was one way I could genuinely express myself without saying anything at all. After years of practice, I began gifting my art to family and friends, and inevitably fell in love with making someone laugh or cry simply from viewing a special moment I captured with my very own eye.

When I'm not focusing on photography, I love moving my body, spending time with family and loved ones, listening/dancing to music, exploring the North Shore, snuggling my pups, baking tasty treats, and diving deeper into self discovery. I strive to live a slow and intentional life, and feel that my artwork coincides with that belief. Enjoy the little moments, hug the people you love as often and as tight as you can, and never ever turn down the opportunity to express yourself authentically.
